Children as young as seven years old have expressed dissatisfaction with their bodies. This is a statistic that should be alarming to all of us.

These insecurities develop due to messaging at home, on television, in magazines, and especially on social media.

From childhood, we are taught that our bodies are in need of modification in order to meet some hypothetical (and ever-changing) standard.

It's no wonder people spend the better part of their lives chasing weight loss, aesthetic 'fitness,' and body attributes that fit the current social definition of beauty, fitness, health, and desirability.

It's time for all of us to collectively repair our body image. For ourselves and especially for the next generation.
