Overview

What does it mean to be successful? Pamela Littky, a celebrity photographer turned documentarian, spent ten years following four high schoolers voted 'Most Likely to Succeed' in their high school yearbooks to see how their lives were shaped by their definitions of success.

Peter wants to be a professor. Charles aka "Disco" wants to get married. Sarah wants to travel the world. And Quay wants to have a career that is more than a regular job. In clips from the ensuing years, we watch and learn whether the four millennials find what they're looking for, and how their desires change along the way through triumphs and pitfalls alike.

As the subjects navigate the uncertain period between teenager and working adult, they learn hard lessons and overcome breakups, arrests, and other setbacks. Peppered with quotes about what success means from thinkers like Maya Angelou and George Patton, Most Likely to Succeed will reframe how you think about achievement in today's America.
