I think systems often, or organized people, get a sort of bad rap for being really dogmatic and strict but the idea isn't actually to oppress yourself with a system for organization or organizing your time. The idea is actually to create a structure in which you can thrive and become more creative because you're less overwhelmed.

Introduction

Creatives are used to having to manage different projects at once. However, it's not always easy to do this.

So how can we define our priorities and activities in order to be as efficient as possible?

Lisa Congdon is an illustrator, fine artist, and author who understands how important it is to be organized when running a creative business.

Through her work for a range of clients, including Method, Target, Facebook, and Harvard University, Congdon has developed an understanding of workflows and how to manage them.

In this course, Congdon introduces us to the benefits of workflows and shows us how to use rolling to-do lists and time blocking as part of our routine.
