Overview

From maintaining healthy relationships to landing the dream job, fear holds people back on a daily basis. In order to live fulfilling, authentic lives, we need to act courageously in the face of the obstacles life throws at us.

Kate Swoboda has dedicated her life to helping people feel more courageous and escape harmful patterns of self-doubt. A life coach, writer, and founder of the website Your Courageous Life, Swoboda released The Courage Habit in 2018 as a way of bringing together years of work and research.

The Courage Habit is a tried-and-tested guide to controlling our fears rather than stamping them out, drawing on research-based techniques and years of counseling experience. By practicing the art of courage, Swoboda believes we can all become our best selves, re-examine the very notion of fear, and ultimately change our lives.

"Courage isn't something you're born with; it's a specific set of strategies you can learn and choose to practice until a courageous way of being becomes your habitual way of being."
