Introduction

All of us perform tasks that draw our full and unmitigated attention, whether that's cooking, playing with our pets, woodworking, or even immersing ourselves in a compelling television show.

When we commit all of our senses to these activities, we engage in mindfulness.

The challenge is to practice this same engagement in all our daily activities, to immerse ourselves in simple moments like being stuck in traffic, washing the dishes, or simply going for a walk.

Craig Hassed is an associate professor and coordinator of mindfulness programs at Monash University. Dr. Richard Chambers is a clinical psychologist and world-renowned mindfulness expert.

In this course, they gently guide you towards a more mindful existence, teaching you how to engage with your environment through meditation, focusing on one task at a time, and immersing yourself in the present moment.
