Parenting is a 24/7 job. However, that doesn't mean you have to do everything for your kids all the time.

I'm Betje, and I've been a mother for over sixteen years. I've learned this lesson the hard way: by wearing myself out functioning as a jungle gym and miniature train driver and mediocre soccer player when I had a million other things to do.

Eventually, I came to see that I don't have to do all these things. While my job as a mother is hard, and the list of responsibilities is extensive, it's not endless. I know what my job is and what it is not, and inmy opinion, that's what being a 'pro' is all about.
