Many brands and food producers are moving toward safer, more sustainable operations, but regaining the confidence of consumers is another challenge.

EIT Food is a European Union-supported organization fighting for innovative, community-driven food practices.

EIT Food aims to help the food industry tackle low consumer trust through ethical production and community education.

This course, in partnership between EIT Food and the University of Reading, explores the food safety and sustainability problems our society faces and defines clear principles for consumers to identify whether they can trust a food or the company behind it.
