Introduction

People have been using yoga to strengthen their bodies and minds for thousands of years.

The benefits of yoga, however plentiful and varied, have until recently only been proven anecdotally.

In this course, experts from the Learning Innovation and Networked Knowledge – or LINK – Research Lab at the University of Texas have teamed up with the Free Life People School of Yoga to quantify yoga benefits scientifically and share practical applications of the principles.

Led by Stacy Dockins, co-founder of Free Life People, and Catherine Spann, a research scientist with a Ph.D. in psychology, the course explores how we can balance the mind and body, as well as our wellbeing and technology-centered lives.

With guest appearances from scientists and experts in wellness from around the world, we take a holistic look at living a connected, thriving life.
