When you hit a child, you make them feel not good enough. You make them feel they do not have anybody who loves them. You make them feel ashamed, ashamed of their feelings, ashamed of their learning, ashamed of their growth. So it is important to not use fear to train your children.
Dawn The Empath
Introduction
We are born connected to our emotions and truth. That is why when a baby cries for milk and you give them a hug, the baby will continue to cry. Until you offer milk to satisfy the baby's hunger, the baby will continue to scream because the baby knows the truth of what it needs.
Intelligence is in the baby's body, not in the baby's mind. Our bodies know what is right for them to experience and what is wrong for them to experience.
But a child's raw emotions can trigger stress for parents and caregivers. And sometimes, that parent or caregiver's stress can disrupt a child's ability to develop empathy, emotional intelligence, and self-empowerment.
No matter if you were spanked as a child or you spanked your children, there is something very loving and insightful here for us all to understand.
