If you don't chase things, you'll never catch them. Sometimes it’s a decent start just to chase yourself and catch your fall.

Introduction
I write stories because I want people to feel seen. My novel, Lost in a Dream, is the first of what I hope will be many to do so.
Ever since my late teens, I've leaned on escapism as a crutch when my life feels empty.
Instant gratification has taught many people in my generation to seek short-term thrills rather than investing in their own future.
It's easier to scroll through TikTok or watch TV than it is to put effort into success or self-growth. And I've known many people who feel just as bad about it as I do.
'If I'd put the hundreds of hours I spent wasting time into learning a new skill or a passion project, who knows what my life would be like?' I hear it all the time.
This isn't to say that we shouldn't enjoy things that provide an escape; it just requires moderation.
