Introduction
"Women are amazing at conveying mood in images. They can have a softness and vulnerability to them while being strong and powerful at the same time." [Chris Smith ]
My name is Chris Smith and I'm a photographer creating artistic, empowering images of women and specialising in capturing the natural beauty and essence of the female form.
Based in Melbourne, Australia, I've been shooting since the dark-room days in high school.
From long-exposure landscapes to weddings and pet portraits, I've shot it all. One thing I've learnt with photography is, the more you shoot, the more you naturally gravitate to what you connect with most.
Moody, emotive, vulnerable images that you connect with are my favourites. The ones that make you feel something.
For me, photography is a release, a creative outlet where I can explore my own feelings and thoughts through my images.
In this Hack, I share professional advice for photographing a beautiful and creative nude portrait.
