Overview

Worrying is an easy option. We sometimes find ourselves plodding through each task, planning for a distant, imaginary, better tomorrow. There is no destination in life. It is simply an experience that should be enjoyed. In the grand scheme of things, regrets, remorse, and worries are only the product of one's thoughts.

Thich Nhat Hạnh is a Vietnamese Buddhist monk and author. He became politically relevant as a peace activist in the Vietnamese-American war and has remained active in global international relations since.

The Art of Living gathers Buddhist principles that can improve one's life even in modern times. By focusing on immersing oneself in the present and accepting one's fate in a chaotic and ever-changing universe, happiness and peace can be found in even the most menial tasks.
