I'm Kimberly Nguyen, author of the poetry collection Here I Am Burn Me, and it wasn't until I started reading poetry that I genuinely connected with that I began to love it.

Now I find poetry to be the perfect read for my busy, modern life. Rather than feeling the pressure of finishing a whole chapter of a book, I can read a few poems per day and spark deep thought that way.
