Introduction

Every day across the world, new parents swallow this unwelcome thought: 'Am I the only one who feels like this after having a baby?'

Postnatal depression affects 1 in 7 mothers and 1 in 10 fathers.

This book has been designed for busy mums and dads who simply do not have time to sit down quietly and read an entire novel.

Parents can pick it up and read a poem, affirmation, story, or set of lyrics and then put it down again. You don't need to read it in chronological order. Just dip in and dip out as you please.

The book has also been designed to be compact so you can pop it into your baby change bag or bathroom cupboard and read it if you find yourself with a couple minutes of peace.

In this Hack, I'll talk through some experiences of postnatal depression to help parents know that they are not the only ones struggling.
