In a Nutshell

A daily meditation practice is like adding a one before a bunch of zeroes — it lends value and meaning to everything that follows. If you meditate regularly, you'll gradually feel more calm, focused, and self-aware.

Introduction

I'm Dada Nabhaniilananda. I help tech and creative professionals connect to themselves through meditation.

Try this short meditation every morning before breakfast.

Start with five minutes of listening to the mantra Baba Nam Kevalam with music. This is available free in the Bliss Timer app or on Youtube.

Then fade out the music and sit straight with your eyes closed, breathing through your nose. Let the music and mantra continue in your mind. If your attention wanders, don't worry. That is natural. If your mind wanders, simply bring your attention back to the mantra.

Feel the music and the mantra lead you inward, to the source of love within you. Then, as you come to that place, feel this feeling of love all around you, above and below you, within you, with no limits.

Remain there, repeating the mantra, for a few minutes. Then take a deep breath and open your eyes.

In this Hack, we're going to delve into some of the particulars of meditation, why it works, and the best ways to go about it.
