Introduction
The events that took place at Sandy Hook elementary school on 14 December 2012 have forever scarred the United States and the world.
After taking the life of his mother, twenty-year-old Adam Lanza shot and killed 26 people, twenty of them children between six and seven years old. He committed suicide right after the shooting.
Kim A. Snyder is an American filmmaker and producer.
In 2016, Snyder won the Crested Butte Film Festival ActNow award and was nominated at the Sundance Film Festival for Newtown.
20 months after the Sandy Hook shooting, Snyder began a three-year project filming the devastation wrought upon Newtown residents and the parents of the children who lost their lives.
