Overview

Investing has become much more accessible in recent years, but the secrets to success remain elusive. In this second part of their five-part Investment Management Specialization course, the University of Geneva joins forces with top experts in the field to help you unlock successful strategies.

Academics including lecturer in macro-finance Dr. Michel Girardin and Tony Berrada, a professor of finance, combine their knowledge with that of experts from the UBS investment bank. Special guests, including Professor Jean-Pierre Danthine, former Vice President of the Swiss National Bank, also voice their opinions, providing a rounded insight into investment strategies.

Starting with the human aspect of investing – cognitive biases and physiological responses to the market – we move through the reasons markets crash to finish with methods for building a strong, lasting portfolio.
