Making a movie can seem like a gargantuan task and totally overwhelming. How do you get the money? Who do you need to hire? Where do you find the people you need?

If you stay focused on what you need to do today, one step at a time, and keep moving in the right direction, your success becomes inevitable.

This is how I was able to make my first film, Obselidia, which won two awards at Sundance, even though I'd never been to film school or even made a short title before.
