Illustrator Emily Paquin explains how observing and drawing cats every day for two years made her reflect on what she could learn from them.

We could all be a bit happier if we adopted the habits of a cat.

My name is Emily Paquin and, in mid 2020, during my senior year of art college, I started an illustration project: I would draw a cat everyday.

Having done well over 600 cat illustrations by now, I've learned a lot about their habits and lifestyle, and their natural inclination to be curious and see fun new adventures everywhere.

Somewhere along the way, I myself picked up habits inspired by cats and implemented them into my everyday life. In this hack, I will explain how doing the same could bring you more happiness, too.
