Adopted people may experience various identity crises, challenges, and triggers throughout their lives, as they navigate the complex terrain of their biological and adoptive identities.
Adoptees frequently explore complex thoughts about who they might have been had they stayed with their birth family. In contrast, the adopted person may examine who they are today as a result of their experience in their adoptive family.
