Tourette Syndrome is a neurological condition that causes involuntary tics, which can include whistling, swearing, grunting, grimacing, or making sudden movements.

Tourette's is more common in boys than in girls, typically beginning around age seven. Often, symptoms taper off after their peak around age 12, but some people have symptoms into adulthood.
