Introduction
When you ask, 'how do I meditate?' you are asking for a method or system given by someone else to achieve a certain result. How implies that there is a beginning stage and specific steps to reach an end stage (that could be anticipated).
Asking 'how' is the mechanistic way of the brain in operation, which is vital and necessary in certain fields, like learning a skill, a language, or how to drive, but not when it comes to meditation.
You can ask a physics teacher how to solve a certain equation, but you can’t ask anyone how to meditate.
The first thing to learn is that there is no how.
