Introduction

I'm always looking to get more people of color into cycling, especially women of color.

I am Ayesha McGowan, the first ever African-American woman to become a professional road cyclist. I have 16 years of experience in the cycling space as an advocate for beginner cyclists, and have been competitive for the past eight years.

I run a company called A Quick Brown Fox that champions authentic representation for people of color in cycling through online and in-person programming.

My podcast, Quick Brown Foxes, tries to demystify getting into cycling for women of color into cycling simply by asking those who have already arrived how they got here.
