Has there ever been life on Mars? In 2003, twin rovers Spirit and Opportunity were sent to Mars to discover if it was once habitable.
In Good Night Oppy, a documentary film from director Ryan White, this groundbreaking Mars mission is portrayed from start to finish through footage captured inside NASA and a CGI imagining of the rovers' experiences.
Both rovers outstripped scientists' predictions of how long they would be able to function on Mars. Opportunity, in particular, surpassed all expectations throughout the mission.
