Introduction

You already know that what you eat affects your physical health, but did you know that your diet can have a profound effect on your mental health as well?

In recent years, more and more research has emerged showing the connection between our diet and brain health.

The Food and Mood Centre at Deakin University is an Australian research center that studies the complex connection between nutrition and brain health.

The Food and Mood Centre is led by Professor Felice Jacka, the founder and president of the International Society for Nutritional Psychiatry Research (or ISNPR.)

The Food and Mood course is led by Jacka and Dr. Tetyana Rocks, Head of Translation and Education at the Food & Mood Centre.
