Overview

His name and his iconic number 007 may sound familiar to you – but you might not know the history behind James Bond's incredible success. Since 1962, Bond films have transported audiences to exotic locations to enjoy wild adventures, becoming an influential cultural icon known for style, glamour, and excitement. However, there is just as much drama behind-the-scenes, with arguments, legal battles, and consistent angst over how to keep the franchise relevant during changing times.

In this documentary directed by filmmaker Stevan Riley, Everything or Nothing is the untold story of 007 made to coincide with the franchise's 50th anniversary and the release of its 23rd film, Skyfall.

With archival footage and interviews from the people who best know the story, the documentary unravels Bond's transition from page to screen, focusing on author Ian Fleming and producers Harry Saltzman and Cubby Broccoli.

"It's unique within moviemaking. On a number of occasions, I think Bond would have died away and we would have lost it. In the face of overwhelming odds, he finds a way."
