Up HackConnecting Intentionally With Amora Podcast By Barbara De la Pena Cuevas
In a Nutshell
What are the unconscious things that we attract and nourish? How do they impact our relationship with ourselves and others? If we do not ask these questions, we might be taking what is in front of us because it is there, not because we are choosing it intentionally.

We must understand which areas of our lives we want to build a relationship with that also nourish us when we nourish them. I think it is crucial to consistently check in with ourselves about the places we are holding, and the places and those who are holding us.

Introduction
I am not fond of the idea of prescribing one 'right' thing. I think there are many ways to heal and connect.
I love hearing my listeners' insights and learning in other ways. I love sharing what works for me or what I have recently learned about.
It is truly a magical honour to connect with people who I do not physically know or share space with and help them feel so deeply and intimately understood.
The Amora Podcast started as an experiment, a sort of sonic diary that I had a lot of fun recording, editing, and putting up, but not more. I did not even consider the language factor; I just wanted to speak — some days, it felt easier in English, some others in Spanish.
It still blows my mind to see the statistics, the list of places people are listening from. Regardless of their language, personal history, or background, they are here, listening. That proves to me that we are all connected in some way. It is a bit of a mystical concept, but I love it.
