Introduction
Imagine if every pet-friendly hotel and buildings with 24-hour security helped foster a dog in its lobby until it got rescued. Consider the impact it would make on the approximate 3.1 million dogs that go into shelters every year.
Based on a true story, Charlie is a Pomeranian living in the lobby of the Pom Springs Hotel, where he's the tour guide and helps guests.
But as much as Charlie loves his job at the hotel, he dreams of getting adopted. Will he find his forever family?
Charlie was 10 when I met him. He's now 17! He's been the best thing to ever happen to me. They say dogs find you, and this one certainly found me while I was on vacation with no plan to be a dog mom, and here I am 7 years later, eternally grateful for this chance encounter.
In this Hack, I'll talk about the benefits of adopting and how Charlie has inspired kids around the world.
