I could not conceptualize how I would pursue this path with my new limitations. All I recognized was that I would never be content if I didn’t.

Introduction
My name is Meredith Aleigha Wells. I am an artist on a mission to spark radical empathy, equity, and inclusion, one creative project at a time.
In 2015, healthcare professionals told me I would likely never dance again after being diagnosed with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), a form of autonomic dysfunction.
Determined to dance, I re-learned dance techniques in my wheelchair, finished my degree in musical theatre, and have gone on to dance professionally, entertaining over 100,000 people a year and making history as the first person in a wheelchair to perform in a Broadway national tour.
