Anti-Aging Pills Probably Won’t Make Us Live ForeverBy Gideon Meyerowitz-Katz

Most of the products labeled 'anti-aging' are a combination of things that either haven't been proven to work or have been proven to not work.

Introduction

If there's one thing that everyone wants, it's to remain young and healthy for as long as possible.

The promise of staying young forever has been a consistent desire for as long as humanity has been able to write things down.

These days, there are countless online companies that will sell you eternity and remove the signs of aging for a dollar a pill. But do any of these anti-aging supplements, saunas, or procedures actually work?

There are essentially two avenues that the claims of living forever (or for a very long, youthful life) take. The first is more specifically scientific and focuses on new innovations that are in the making, which may, in theory, improve longevity to some extent.

The second includes more ridiculous claims made for a variety of supplements and other similar products with very little scientific evidence behind them, despite a lot of hype.
